Welcome

I decided to shut down my first blog and start over with a brand new one. Hi, my name is Sharon, and I love so many things. 😗😍😗 Counted cross stitch, photography, Americana, Primitive, my children, my grandchildren, my furbabies and so much more. I've been cross stitching since the mid 80's and love it just as much today...if not, more than when I first started stitching. Over the year's, I've stitched so many treasure's, some I've kept for myself and other's have been given to family and friend's. Cross stitch designer's and pattern's available way back when was really limited. I seem to remember Paula Vaughan being the first bigger name to hit the market. She's a painter and her prints where adapted to cross stitch by Leisure Art's. I believe that at this point, I own every pattern/book by her. And even a few kit's. I think I've stitched seven of her designs, there may be more though. The next project I'm so looking forward to starting is "Gingerbread Village" by Country Cottage Needleworks. I've just received all of the pattern's, fiber's, button's and fabric this week.

My current work in progress is called "Winter Plaid" by Little House Needleworks...
